Jim Morrison Arrested In New Haven CT. December 10, 1967. According to Ray Manzerek, keyboardist for the Doors, Jim was making out with a girl in a shower back stage before the concert, a cop came in and told him to knock it off, Jim replied "eat it" the cop pulled out his mace and said "last chance" Jim retorted "last chance to eat it" Jim got maced. The copper apologized after learning that he maced the frontman for the band he was hired to protect. The concert was delayed to give Jim a chance to recover. Jim was angry when he finally got on stage and teased the cop that maced him calling him "a little blue pig" He told the crowd "I'm just like you guys man,...they did it to me they'll do it to you." The cops charged the stage and arrested Jim. He was charged with enticing a riot, indecency and public obscenity. This was not the first nor the last of Jims run ins with the law.
