You may have seen this artwork at your last show or festival on T-Shirts, Tapestries, Flags, etc. The album was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in May of 1972. Dark Side of the Moon was Pink Floyd's most popular album, topping the Billboard Top LPs & Tapes chart and remained in the charts for 741 weeks from 1973 to 1988. On 22 March 2013, the album was preserved by the Library of Congress into the National Recording Registry, calling it "culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant, and/or reflect life in the United States."
